Amy Lampert has over 30 years of management experience in the financial services industry, in roles ranging from financial advisor to executive management. Amy is currently affiliated with The Bulfinch Group, a wealth management firm located in Needham, MA. Amy has been recognized in Boston Magazine as one of the area's Five Star Wealth Managers for nine consecutive years.
In 1998, Amy founded the not-for-profit Women’s Financial Network. and continues today as the founding principal of WomensWorth, a company whose mission is to demystify the world of money and increase financial literacy and empowerment among women, youth, and the important people in their lives.
Amy has written frequently as a consumer advocate for individual investors and was the author of a blog dedicated to her findings while mystery shopping in the offices of banks and brokerage offices. She has designed and delivered numerous financial education workshops for companies in the financial services industry as well as at WomensWorth, and has been a guest lecturer at Stern School of Business at New York University, Fordham University, and Columbia University on the delivery of financial services in each of the major distribution channels. Ms. Lampert holds an M.A. and a M.Ed. from Tufts University. She is a licensed securities supervisor, and an arbitrator with FINRA, the financial industry’s self-regulatory agency.
Amy spends her leisure time mentoring younger professionals who are starting out in the financial services industry, offering counsel to mid-careerists desiring more meaningful work and encore careers, and on offering pro-bono consulting services to non-profit boards in the area of diversity/inclusion and governance.
